ok ran into two minor problems, the cases would not push all the way into the shell plate
but i finally figured it out,the finish cartridge bracket thingy was catching under the slide part,

fixed that, everything else from dillon went right together. then me being a big dummy decided to size a few

.223 cases and didnt catch one with a crimped in primer, so i bent my decapping rod

so i guess i will change over to 9mm and do some pistol first.

Sorry you had problems, but I have sized and deprimmed thousands of once fired crimped primers with RCBS, Hornady, Lee and Dillon dies.

Something other than the dies went wrong.

Unless you have some of the "extra small flashole" cases.

Need more info here.

i dont know what i did,i am new to .223 and mil. surp. and thought maybe it was the crimped primer
but i dont think it was that. i reloaded for my hunting rifles years ago with a rock chucker and i never messed up a die rod.

all i can say is the case visually looked just like the others, i am wondering if it could have been a berdan primed case?
