i have seen them, but do not do it myself.  my understanding is that its great becuase it sizes the entire case and rim.  but it is expensive and "dies" are really expensive.  plus yea need a press and dies to seat bullets and crimp anyways

Works great if you have the money. The one I saw at a (commercial loaders shop) worked by rolling the cases betweeen two tapered plates.  It sizes the cases including the rim. My own make do method is to take the decapping stem out of my sizing die and use a flat disc on the ram to shove the case all the way into the sizing die, then knock it back out using a steel rod and hammer Slow as all get out, but if you have bulged pistol brass that just won't chamber it works. PS the carbide sizing die of a .357 Lee speed die is just perfect for .380ACP.

Yes I am lucky enough to have good friends into shooting and reloading.  We use a casepro roll sizer for 40, 357 sig, 45 and 9mm.  It is amazing how We went from tossing cases to losing cases.  Prior to the roll sizer we tossed a fair amount of cases that wouldn't chamber because of the bulge.  Now we lose more pistol brass than we toss.  The ultimate accessory for it however is the dillon casefeeder.  Makes life so much easier.

You can see in the above photo the slight rub marks on the two pieces on the left.  This is from the plates rolling the bulge out of the brass.

Good luck and happy shooting

Thanks for the photo of the finished product. Do you happen to have a photo of the roll sizing machine and how it actually works?
