I would start to say....DUMP the EO Tech for reliability reasons but I won't go there....I've seen enough issues over the years with L3 products!

Anyways...Does the unit work with the day settings?  (Check this WITHOUT the NV behind the unit).  If the day settings work, my guess is your NV setting is just too low. After hitting the NV button, keep pressing the brightness setting to increase the brightness of the reticle.  Hopefully that will do it.  Hope this helps.

Thanks for the Advice but its still a no-go.....Im not to hot on the Eotech either thats why i purchased the Aimpoint but i figured on my other rig i would get this up and running.   I already sent this unit back 6 mos ago for a loose connection.

Too each his own. I've had an Eotech 552 for 4 years, another 552 for almost that long, and nary a problem. I prefer the large circle for quick acquisition and range estimation.
Then again, some people dont like ARs either.......

What model is it?  My EO 551 went back to the land of EO OZ on may occasions only to have the same dead bat issues creep up a month later each time. Now my boy uses the unit for a hockey puck.  Only issue is, after one slap shot, it shattered!  I hear the XPS fixed the batt issues, but time will tell.

I hear ya!  I loved my 551 for years if I could have kept the darn units working. I STILL say EO's work the best for NV, but their battery life and questionable reliability over the years has grinded us to a halt.

Well...I guess this one is taking another trip home to get fixed for the second time.

552...

did you try hitting the + button after u hit the NV button, maybe it was just so dim u could not c it with nv....i doubt it but u never know

and i have to agree with vic...i had a 557 that would glitch after it got to a certain dimness, the entir retical would blur and the dot would turn into a swoosh...

long story short, over 1 year, and about 8 trips back and forth on MY dime, it stillw as not fixed so they swiched it out for a cheaper 552 which still had the problem...

FUCK eotech

Yes I've tried the NV and + button.  Thought of that as well and nothing.
