I got one from Cheaper Than Dirt.  The little synthetic fleece 'woolies' shed and got gunked up in every part of the rifle that was either greased or oiled.  I didn't like it at all.  Just my experience...

I bought one for a garand.  Got it at a gun show.  Used it a couple of times.  A little shedding, but not too much.  Usually use either a hard case or a thicker padded one for better protection.

If it's just for travel, then they're fine, but if you intend any form of long term storage then look elsewhere.  The fleece material attracts a lot of moisture and will rut your guns it they remain in contact long term.

I would not store any firearm in any type case long term

Bought one for my Carbine from Fulton Armory.  It's ok.  The wool isn't nearly as fluffy as they portray it on the website.

Does that include the theoretically-wicking "gun socks"?

+1.  I just did the same, taking advantage of their free shipping and 10% off everything sale.  The case itself is nice enough (got the carbine model for my M1 Carbine, 10/22, etc.), but the interior is nothing like the picture.  Looks to be ok, but I will use this for a while before getting the full size that I had planned to get for my Garand, M1903 and M1A.
