| hey guys , how long does it take for a form 4 to go in the system? my dealer tells me he sent the form 4 in late November but when I call the ATF status line, and give them the S/N they tell me there is no transfer in the system. ATF told me it could take 8 weeks or so after the check is cashed to show up in their system . dealer tells me he had some checks clear December 10th or so. just wanting to know if this sounds right |

I've got a form 4 sent in late Sept, and the check was cashed Oct 10, but past that, I have been trapped in silence. Dealer says "be patient", but I'd like some info from the source! |
