anyone know the specs on the front sight adapter threads, such as depth & thread pitch?

i can't seem to find it using search.

EDIT> i'm (crudely) measuring 15.85mm diameter and .98mm pitch. i assumed it was metric, but it seems to be closer to 5/8-26. however there is no such thing. maybe 5/8-24?

i tried 5/8-24 and it is no good.it goes in a few threads before binding, which may explain why some aftermarket adapters (i.e. 3lug from brownels) is a poor fit.
