[ARCHIVED THREAD] - good M1A scout scope???

Well, I got a M1A bush rifle. And thanks to Oney, I have a scout scope mount on the way. Now for the next step. Whats a good pistol scope to use with it? Any suggestions?

Id go with an aimpoint. Not too sure why youd get a scout scope mount and then put in something with more than 2x, when you couldve just gotten an arms mount and done the same.
but if 1x or 2x magnification is all you are looking for, check out the aimpoints

if your thinking of a standard powered tube type scope you need to get a dedicated "scout" scope. a pistol scope's eye relief is to long to be used on a scout rail.

What is a dedicated scout scope? Do you mean something like aimpoint? If not, can you give me an example, something I can look up?

For dedicated scout scopes check out Burris and Leuplold, they each make one.
