Shovel snow from 10 driveways and buy both.

BREEDAR15,

Also, you should note that you waited a mere 27 min 51 sec to start whining. I've met 5 year-old kids that can hold it in longer than that.

This isn't GD where posts are answered in 6 picoseconds. This is one of the smaller forums. I predict you won't last very long...

Edit: my math-fu is weak!

That's ok---we all have to learn

In all quality 556 suppressors running supersonic ammo, the loudest sounds will be the sonic crack and the action noise, both of which are not affected by the suppressor (actually, more effective suppressors generally mean more ejection port noise unless we start talking reflex designs). Bottom line: choose based on weight, mounting system, price, durability, and materials. Any Gemtech, Surefire, AAC, SWR, or Ops (I know I left a few out, but that's not the point) will serve you well.

For the average user, I recommend looking at the AAC M4-1000 as I believe it represents the best value on the market. This, of course, could change.
