Im wanting to build a 9mm upper, 5" or 7" with a novenski or Spikes fake sd can(it will have mini quadrail with vert grip)I cant decide witch setup to go with.

I say, if between the two choices, go with the 7 to get the 'max' out of that given setup.

I dunno, I'm almost done with my 9mm SBR (just needs a can really) and I don't know that I'd agree. You're not going to be shooting out to 200 yards with 9mm, especially with a 5" or 7" barrel.

I went with a 5" just because I had a specific "look" in mind when building it and wanted the suppressor to stick out only about 2" from the rail I have.

I'd need more info, like the rail you're going to use, if you're getting a suppressor, etc. before I made a recommendation. Of course my opinion doesn't mean shit anyway!

*ETA* Apparently I suck at reading comprehension as well! If you're not going to suppress it and intend to leave that rail on, BladedRonin is probably right to say get the 7".
