I was using a laptop bag for work. I work for the railroad so I have to have saftey and rule books with me at work. I would like a backpack onstead of the swiss carry bag. I like the camelbak tri zip. but I think it might be to big. I posted this in the gear thread als

I made this my pistol range bag because I was tired of the large man purse and hiking around at pistol matches. YMMV.

I am looking for a bag like this. This is my GHB so I dont want to buy another bad and transfer everything. it is a camelbak maxium gear bad but I cant find any tags inside it to give me a item number. it is a weird bad it didnt come with a bladder.

Where did you get that bag?  That's nothing I've seen or sold in my 7 years as a CB dealer.

I dont remember, I want another one. it was 59 or 69. where would the tag be?

They don't have tags inside.

That's unlike any Camelbak military pack I've ever seen or sold.  I am wondering if it wasn't a one-off/prototype or a special run for a .mil unit.

Great, I searched online for a pic of it but nothing comes up. its more of a backpack than the usual hydration carrier. I wish I kept the tags so I would have something.

Mystery solved. It's a pack I'd completely forgotten about since I never sold it, and it didn't sell very well.

It's the Camelbak Urban Rover, which they've discontinued.  It was replaced by the Urban Assault series, but they make those in only black last time I checked.  They are coming out with a new pack, the Urban Transport, which is a slightly different take on it...sort of a melding of the Rover and the Assault series.  It should be hitting the shelves, FINALLY, within the month.  I don't have any pictures of them, sorry.

ETA:  Change name of the pack in the images above...I wrote the same name as the new pack.  DOH!

Tactical Tailor's Removeable Op. pack might work for you, or maybe their Urban Op. pack.

I've havent had it for very long, so its use has been limited, but so far I am very pleased with my Removeable Op. pack.
