Anyone try a low profile mount that is worth a damn? i bought one of the ncstar pieces of crap and it did not work out.

I looked at those MFI mounts and got a bad case of sticker shock.

DSA lists a Brugger & Thomet mount for $150:

Edit:

I found the MFI mount for $125, considerably less than what I had seen before:

I would not consider the universal B&T mount "low profile" I have one on my 53, and it sits fairly high compared to the B&T MP5 low profile mount.

Believe it or not, I have been using the GSG5 scope mount for more than a year.. works perfect and no issues at all.
