It doesn't show up all that much.  Probably about a buck a round (although it's really not much better than plain surplus ball ammo).  Anything with a real match bullet will easily outshoot the 173grFMJ "match" bullet.

Any of the 155, 168 or 175gr HPBT Match loads (Federal, Black hills, etc) will be far more accurate than M72, and it'll probably cost you about the same.  A commercial match bullet will have a weight variance of about 0.1grs.  The 173grFMJ military "match" bullet will have a variance of 1.5grs.

M72 is worth more valuable as a collectable than it is as an accurate round.

The M72 does shoot quite well.  I have an origional M1 national match built by the AMU in 1962.
I can shoot 3 sighters M72 from 100 yards and all 3 have touched.
To me pretty good.

The white box should be a older lot than the brown box.
The brown box came later.
I have a couple of cans left of the 62 LC Match.  I have shot a lot of it up over the years.
Mine is all white box.  It is a wrap on the box with the data.
