| Thanks for the reply. Shortly after I posted this I ran across someone selling the same nikon in the EE for $100 shipped. That made up my mind. I was leaning that way any way. I've heard the nikons can handle recoil pretty good, and the simmons while has a lot of good reviews, seems geared more for .22 calibers. |

FYI, simmons has a 25% rebate on all purchased over $25...so you woulda got $27 off...and if you can search, you likely could've found a $10 off midway coupon.
At any rate, you made the right choice. While that simmons seems to be getting decent reviews, overall...it is still a simmons.
