Is it a fairly standard thread or is it completely off the wall?

US made barrel, please.

I buggered the first thread and need to unbugger it, was hoping a thread die might help me get things started again.

The USGI M14 chromium plated barrel has 0.595 - 32 NS - 3A threads at the muzzle end according to drawing F7790190.
