That picture is like "bolted down to the floor" furniture around here.

The OP might have a point, but isn't that what's fun about the AR? If ever we needed to use our rifles in defense of this beautiful country, I would like all the advantages those "tacticool" accessories afford me.

Really? If I decide to put a bius or detachable carry handle, I will need it and I do have the carry handle.

Besides, he was talking about things hanging on one. That's part of the rifle.

will you have the carry handle with you when you need it , i doubt it , it will be somewhere else , more the likely home
