FL size, measure and if over max trim & deburr.  I trim mine to length after the first firing.

I usually just run new brass about 1/3 of the way into the FL die to round the mouth and neck. then check length.

Anytime I get rifle brass, new or used, I always resize, trim and deburr so it is consistent and I know where I'm starting.

true and prob good practice. I like to get that first firing out of the way to fireform. I focus more on accuracy after the first firing (for a bolt rifle obviously)

Size, trim, debur.  For new rifle brass you may neck size only if you wish.  Pistol should be full length sized.  

Only time I ever had inadequate neck tension was when I got lazy and loaded brand new brass without sizing.
