Too bad they cant make something with the thickness and cut of a short flight glove, but with a padded knuckle.  Those are too thick for my tastes.

Please do a good and thorough review on them cause they are next on my list.....all you ever see are Oakley Pilots and these look badass....I do have a pair of UA Cold Gear Gloves and have had them for over a year now and they are nice and have held up well, that being said I too am a Mechanix Gear Whore and work in them daily.

got my gloves in today and wow im impressed

i think UA did a great job with these gloves, i wear a large and these fit perfect but one thing i really like is how snug they are. there is no looseness to the gloves when wearing them and they are supprising light and cool(temp wise)

one thing i noticed is the sheer amount of padding on the top part of the hand. they want you to be comfortable in these and protect your hands as much as possible, but they only put it where needed, like the trigger finger doesnt have any padding so it doesnt interfere with your control of the gun. i had no trouble getting my finger in and out of my ar-15 trigger guard which has a bad ass lever from magpul and the standard straight trigger guard.

another thing i like about them is the bottom material allows for an uncanny amount of feel, its a thin leather that honestly lets me have more feel than standard mechanix. only time will tell how they hold up but they are def well built and seem like a very tough pair of gloves, if your looking for an alternate to oakleys you cant go wrong here

Thanks for the review.  It looks like the fingers are loose or is it just the picture?

its just the picture, the fingers fit great, but i also have pianist fingers, skinny in other words lol so most gloves are sorta loose on me, these actually fit the best though

I'm a sucker for UA gear. Can't believe I never heard of these. Are they summer or winter gloves?
I'm looking for a pair of decent cold weather shooting gloves.

Thanks, you just saved me $60. But do let us know how they hold up. I may end up getting these for the summer if they're durable. Now to continue the search for the perfect winter shooting gloves.
