Good afternoon.  I picked up a pvs22 a while ago and went to go use it and I couldn't get it to focus to even see just 250 meters. I've used it before and it was from a private party and the unit is only 4 years old. It's mounted in front of a leupold mark 4 which has parallax adjustment but no matter what I did I couldn't get it to focus.  It was a very dark night with no moon and some starlight available but I've used it before with similar conditions and it was like day time. Can anyone link me some information or perhaps offer some advice. I'm not sure if I just need some illumination that's why it wasn't working good enough or perhaps it's having an issue. No matter what magnification or parallax I used or no matter how far or close to the scope it was it offered no relief to the concern. Thanks for the help ahead of time

Were you using the focus adjustment knob located on the rear of the PVS-22 to focus it?

I have found with my clip-ons and day scopes that if I set the parallax of the day scope at or near infinity and then adjust the focus of the clip-on unit I can achieve the best focus. I usually mount my clip-ons within 1/4" of the scope if possible (far enough not too make contact but only one rail space more generally).

Which way do you start the focus know off at. All the way clockwise or counterclockwise as viewed from the rear

all the way clockwise should be focused at or near infinity, all the way clockwise should be focused very close up. It doesn't really matter (in my opinion) which direction you start in but I usually adjust until the focus becomes sharp, go a little past and bring it back to sharp focus.

Well I tried everything I mounted it in front of 2 different scopes and im unable to see past 200 yds without it being blurry I guess it's getting sent back in.
