I purchased some pvs-14's almost two years ago(The warranty is about up). Ever since I received it there has been a small/moderate black spot in the peripheral of the sight picture that seems to pulsate with a halo around it. I originally thought this was probably normal. Recently, I had my class 3 dealer,who seems very knowledgeable, take a look at it. He seemed to think I should send it back. Is this a problem that will get worse? I have babied the monocle since receiving it. I've probably only taken it out for hunting less than ten times, it's never been dropped. I'm wondering what the experts on here think.
Also...I'm considering either getting the 3x magnifier from TNVC or getting an Aimpoint 3x magnifier. Will the Aimpoint work just as well? I'll be using it with the Aimpoint micro, and am leaning toward getting the Aimpoint because I can use it in the daytime as well with just the micro. |

Pics through the tube will help guys diagnose the issue ?? I can guess but in this case take the time to show us some photos so we can be accurate. Don't think you have any major issue but pics will help tremendously !!
The 3x afocal works great and is what I use.
