i have an old inland arms M1 carbine that is a little beat up looking, the wood is in good condition but the parkerising on the rifle itself is almost all gone. I was wondering would it decrease the value of the rifle if i were to have it reparkerized? |

Yes, but the value amount just depends on the overall condition of the rifle. I you have a rebuilt mix master and are not planning on part correcting the rifle, your are better off just re-parkerizing the rifle if you are using it as a shooter, since the bare metal is not a good surface to retain a protective lubricant, and further rusting will value depreciate the rifle in it's self. |
