the 200 $ tax is that a one time deal or do you have to pay that every year ? also what calibers can you get in sbr?i was thinking about a 6.5 grndel or a 6.5 creedmoore.or even a .308.I wouldnt also mind having one in a 9mm

Its a one time fee. Now the lower is what get registered so any caliber that fits on a standard ar15 lower or whatever lower u register will work

Its a great deal on a AR b/c of flexablity.  $200 is one time.  You can buy whatever upper for your lower, and change them out as needed, so you can have one lower and multiple SBR uppers if you want, in multiple calibers.  In your example 308s do not work on ar-15 lowers.

you will have to pay to have the lower engraved as well, i believe

suppressed SBR was gonna happen for me before my car took a shit last week

The fee is actually per transfer on a form 4. It's an important distinction from a one-time fee.

its still a one time fee of $200 per transfer, theres no recurring costs
