| i need some advice please. i have a sbr that has been registered for some time now. on my paper it has the barrel length marked as 14". my question is can i put a 10" upper on it? or do i have to register it again? |
| It would be fine if you put a 10" upper on it. The ATF requests that you notify them of the change to the firearm, but it is not compulsory. If the change is permanent, I would notify them, but if you plan on swapping uppers frequently, I wouldn't worry about it. You do not have to "re-register" the weapon. |
