to start I looked through the threads at the top of the page to get an idea of things, that being said I still am clueless

im looking into some small scale reloading, one thing I have is time to do it so speed isnt a big factor. Cost isnt as big as a factor but of course I want to save money when I can but I would spend extra money for digital scales and such to make things easier. im not looking for precision accuracy just a cheaper way to plink

With that being said I live in a 1 bedroom apartment with limited space, so setting up dedicated reloading bench isnt really an option.
right now when I clean guns or work on a project I get a fold out table and set up in my living room.

I would like to be able to reload .223 and 9mm.
I already have experience loading 37mm rounds, been doing that for a couple years but its alot different than this just sprinkle 15-20 grains of FFF from a muzzle loading measure pop a new primer in an whatever projectile.

any advice is welcome, tell me the mistakes you have learned from and if its even possible without a "bench" to bolt a press onto

All sizes and shapes of reloading benches and set ups in this thread. My bench is on pg 6.

Get a copy of ABC's, Includes how to reload, pick tools, and components.

A press can be bolted to a 2x6 and C clamped to a table.

Or placed on a Workmate that will fold up for storage.

Then there are hand presses that don't need to be mounted to a bench, just hand held.

Up in Reloading Tools and Accessories, there are the lists of needed equipment.

I have been using a old black& decker workmate bench , with a rockchucker mounted on one side and a 450 dilon on the other , its easy to move around if its on a wood or tile floor , just put a piece of carpet under each leg and it slides very easy by one person , if you look around you can buy one of these workmate's at a yard sale or auction for a song.  I also use a 5gal plastic bucket with a padded  seat , you can keep alot of your reloading stuff in the bucket ,, my .02 worth , and its works for me , ken
