I've been looking lately for a good scope and I found one I like and has good reviews but I want to know for sure. Has anyone ever used a millet scope cause i ve heard good things but I've also heard some bad but on top of that its the dessert camo that my m1a is so I would prefer to get it but not if its a piece of junk. Any thoughts

Had one and didn't like it. It felt cheap, the turrets were mushy, and the illumination didn't work properly from the factory.

I went with SWFA and never looked back.

What is your budget?  Magnification you want? Reticle type?

I don't have an M1A.....yet.

However, when I do get one in a few months ( I hope ), I am planning to also get a Leupold VX-R 3x-9x with balistic fire dot reticle.

I second a SWFA SS. Mine was 10x. I never had a single issue with it and the glass was very good. Hard to beat for $350 with side focus.

Here is my rifle in it's current configuration. SAI Std loaded. 1996 mfg date, mostly GI parts. Leupold mk4 lr/t 3.5-10x in Burris extreme rings mounted on an ARMS #18 mount.
