I have a scope mount for my stg58 that I bought from TAPCO a long time ago.  The brass is dinging it up so bad that it feels very rough.  I don't have it nearby to take pics.  I don't mind brass marks like you get on the case deflector of an AR or even on the stock cover, but these marks are deep hacks that leads me to question the quality of the aluminum used.  Is this a known issue?  If so I'll shell out the cash for one of the DSA's units, assuming it won't do the same.

All mounts get brass dings. Either get some skate board tape or use a single side of self-stick velcro tape (adhesive on the back type).

It shows you how to reshape/file down your ejector to adjust the throw of the spent case.
