I have a hk94 and want to put a scope on it. This is going to be a range toy and nothing else. I have an inexpensive tube scope from a project years ago I am going to use. My questions are, is it better to co-witness or not and which mount do I get?
I have seen both of these mounts for co-witnessing and want your opinions on them and which you think would be better. MFI Mount B&T Mount If you guys think co-witnessing is not the way to go, what mounts do you suggest in the same price range as the stuff above. Thanks for looking at this and responding. |

Thanks for posting. yes i do. very easy to install, you just have to be sure to keep the mount flat on the little step in front of your rear sight as you incrementally finger tighten the 4 mount screws to keep it level as you initially install it, then equally tighten the 4 screws to fial torque. they dont need to be super tight as many will over torque the screw and break it or the tip of the claw off. (as a friend of mine down here did.

Does it stop the brass from getting dented?

Does it stop the brass from getting dented? absolutely it works. my cases now do not get a single dent in them add that to the fact the cases only get thrown 20 feet compared to the original 40....well worth it. after tumbling you cant tell if they were shot in a PTR or if they were in a remington 700 |
