| I actually like the red dot that came with my sig 556. I have seen posts here claiming that they are $20 china crap. If so could you guys point me in the direction where they are selling them for $20? |
| The first gen ones didn't do so well––there were a lot of problems with them failing to hold zero, poor battery life, etc. However, the newer versions (past year or so) have been pretty good with a much fewer problems. That and Sig has a lifetime warranty on their accessories and excellent customer service (so if it breaks, they will replace it). I have run the red dots on my 522, 556 SBR, and AR are various point and I never had a failure (and they hold their zero from one rifle to the next). |
