Anybody care to make a suggestion as to which reloading kit or components to get. I used to reload several years ago but lost all equipment and components in a house fire. looking for ideas to get back into it. Not looking to spend a ton of money. single stage would be fine. Looking to load mainly 9mm, .45acp, .223, possibly 6.5Grendel in the future, maybe some 7mm mag and .308.
Any suggestions are appreciated |

Since you already know how to reload, a progressive press would be ideal if it's in the budget. If money is tight, I'd recommend the Lee Classic Turret Press. IMO, turret's bridge the gap from single stage to progressive, though, not quite either of the two. Some people claim that a turret is a single stage press but I'd like to see these people load and crimp 200 pistol rounds an hour.
Changing calibers on the Lee turret takes seconds if you have dies already set on extra turrets. You can also use it as a single stage for swaging your .223 brass or single stage sizing/decapping. I got this press about a year ago as my first reloading press ever. I am glad I got this instead of a single stage press. When I do upgrade to a Dillon, I will use the lee turret exclusively as a single stage. |
