Pretty sweet.
Can cast my server or wireless workstation display to either flat screen in the house. Can cast our mirroring capable wireless devices and the mobile client display to either flat screen. Not to mention all the Chromecast supported apps. No noticeable/additional lag from casting. $70 well spent.

The Google Chromecast that allows you to mirror your desktop display to other devices. The Google Chromecast that allows you to mirror your android device's screen to other devices. I used Google Chromecast. Chromecast. Better?

You setup the Chromecast as directed.
You then pull up whatever NVR system/ viewer that you use on your pc/desktop. Then open google chrome and in the upper right hand corner is a cast button. Choose cast desktop. Minimize browser and keep your cam viewer up. Boom. Android is similar, pull up your systems mobile viewer and then mirror your display through a the chromecast app. Both need WIFI connection to same network as the chromecast's while in use. |
