So switching from lead shot to steel you go up 2 sizes,right?.How about tungsten? Does the better ballistics get you closer to lead performance,or does one still increase shot size in order to acheive the same result?

Tungsten is actually MORE dense than lead, so I'd use whatever you use in lead.  In addition to being more dense, tungsten is much harder, and is used in advanced AP rounds.

i've got a buddy that writes articles for Hunting Mags ect---i saw him at the range the other day--he gets stuff from the manufacturers to test and write about--he was testing something called Hevishot (i think they've got a site but haven't looked for it) he showed me some 50 and 60 yard patterns he shot with it and he swears the stuff is better than lead. Nothing with feathers could have lived through what i saw..............Dick
