ok I know a couple of people have seen that show American Guns. is it just me or are they (the gunsmiths) being portrayed as idiots?

They are portrayed as good gunsmiths with a lack of imagination on purpose. Dickbag shop owner has to go downstairs and lead his men by sharing his unique vision and unequalled knowledge of all things firearms related.
He is lucky he is rich or I'd be bangin' his wife just because I can. |

| Ya know...I put up with Sons of Guns because it's my gig. But that American Guns show is hard to watch, even for me. Don't think this one will have a sequal. Looks like a group of coin went in to 'smithing up the wifes chest. The daughter and that damn dog are as annoying as the owner and his stupid helicopter. And what tool parades his half dressed daughter around on "biker night at a gunstore"?? What the hell is that all about? |
| OK , after re watching this season, I have seen the shop owner throw out wads of cash like it was used TP at chili cook off. but still they are hackin goff barrels with a hack saw. Why can't he invest in a bandsaw or cold cut pipe saw? that double barrel ol'boy was working on didn't even come out even. |

I know what you mean about the Smiths. That one guy is soo fat I doubt he could draw his sidearm if it meant getting a free chili dog. I like learning some of the stuff about the guns, but the the reality TV just kills it. Why does every gun they shoot have to hit a target that explodes? Who knows how many takes they go through and how much editing is done to make it look like a shot left that barrel caused the explosion, not the detenator...
The mom and daughter are definitely hotter than Stephanie from Sons of Guns... woof. She's got a blue AK, other than that she's nothing special to look at. |

I know about Tannerite, but when you shoot an outhouse, I doubt they could get that to explode. At least on the first shot. |

My understanding is producers of show like to show workers using hand tools rather than standing next to a cnc machine. I'm guessing they think normal viewers can relate to hand tools. |
