| i saw that midway has some of this. m33 wiith 660gr metal jacke boat tail it comes in ammo can with 100rnds for $409. just wondering if anyone had any info good or bad? |
As opposed to what? A plastic jacket? Really is this all of the description of the ammo that you are considering to purchase? Could have added a link to the item. So this leaves the questions of where was it made? From experience I can assume that this is FMJ. Can I also presume that it is linked? Really if you want input, you have to output more info than the above. Max |

That's overly expensive. This is a better deal (New 2006 brass): www.wideners.com The midway stuff is 1950's-1960's ammo from what I have heard. Yeah its US. But its OLD. And old brass is often pretty inconsistent for reloading. -David Edgewood, NM |

Easy Max, we don't need to scare off any noobs. mfg, There are better places to buy from then MidWay, their prices are near the rediculous end of the scale. Have a look at Wideners www.wideners.com/itemview.cfm?dir=18|830|849 |

sorry, did't mean to be too vaguge. but this is their ad: Genuine made in the United States military surplus ammunition. This already de-linked M33 ammo features a reloadable, boxer primed brass case, non-corrosive powder and primer as well as a full metal jacket boat tail lead core bullet. Don't miss out on this opportunity to stock up on some great surplus 50 BMG ammo. It won't last long! thanks for the other link, i am very new to this and just starting to look around. |

MFG, not trying to scare you off, but trying to draw you out. All bullets have a metal jacket, well at least in a cartridge such as most common rifle cartridges. But some might have a soft tip (aka hunting rounds). And a link is most helpful to those who are willing to lend a hand. So, if you feel that I was whipping you with a wet noodle, please accept my apology. Max. |
