Does any one think that the prices of fire arms and acc. are going to go up significantly before a ban actually gets put in place since it is inevitable about who is getting into office? If so how long do you think it will take? Just wanting to see what every one thinks.

I think it has already started.  You can hardly find a vendor that has AR15 mags in stock.  From here on out demand and prices on EBRs and EBR accessories that would be affected by a potential ban are going to go up.  Hopefully I'm wrong.

Stuff is gonna be hard to find for the next couple of months while "panic buying" ensues. Lowers are going to be the hardest thing to come by, because they'll be the first thing to get banned if anything gets banned. That and "hi-cap" mags.

Parts and ammo I wouldn't worry TOO much about yet. They aren't likely to go after THAT until AFTER they get an AWB passed, assuming they DO get one passed.

To be real, Congress and Obama has an economic crisis to fix and two wars to end. If an AWB comes over, it probably won't be for another year or two at LEAST.

If you were worried about this, you should've been buying LAST month, not waiting until now.

I wouldn't be surprised if you saw lowers go from $100-200 to $200-300, or mags go from $10-15 to $20-25.

If you can't get NOW, then just wait out the panic and then snag what you need.

Yes gun prices will go up just because Obama is now in the White house. I myself was forced to sell my black guns to generate capital for living expenses as well as retaining a lawyer so the price increase for me  was welcome. I do feel for anyone buying any gun right now though...... The sad thing is when I get back on my feet I will probably pay more too replace them than what I sold them for....
