I just realized that i know nothing about AKs and was wondering what you would get or look for in an AK. How much $ do they run and how available are they in the USA? Karl |

i have the sar1 (762x39) and sar2(54539), cost about $300 each. havent found anything wrong with the sar1, have shot man sized targets at 330 m with a little effort, but don't expect super groups. the sar 2 has a canted front sight, about 1/8" to the right, and a canted gas tube (just barely), and works just fine. my wife bought the sar2 (bless her heart) but would prefer inspection before buying. go to ak47.net to have all your ak questions answered. have a nice day p.s. - my next ak will be a robinson arms product |
