I received a gift card for $150 from my girlfriend for Christmas and I decided that I need a new jacket..Im stuck between the condor soft shell and the northface apex bionic jacket..I know northface stuff is made very nicely but im just stuck on what to get.....what to do,what to do..

I dont know how the North Face jacket is but I can tell you this, I bought the Condor in green I liked it so much a week later I bought a black one.

Depends on the look you want. The condor will have a military/tactical look to it; the north face not so much. I have heard good things about the condor, and the one I saw in a shop a few weeks ago looked nice enough.

I bought the Condor with hood and it has a distinct military look to it. I didn't mind and loved it so much I bought one without the hood 2 weeks later. Other than the arm Velcro (which no one notices) it blends very well. I love both of mine and wear them daily.

The gift card was just an amex card. I ended up ordering the condor from us cavalry for under $100

I've been very happy with my Condor thus far. I'm not sure how water proof it is but for me, it and a t-shirt are good down to about 35 degrees.

I see you already spent the cash but I was going to recommend the Apex Bionic. I picked one up about a month ago when Campmor had them on sale for $99. Now I blend into the yuppie crowd seamlessly.

I'm wearing my apex bionic now. I got it a few months ago and I can't tell you how much I love it. Fits so well, warm, blocks wind nicely, resists water great....I think for the price I got it (100 from the exchange), its a great jacket.
