Other than plinking with low recoil rounds or looking mean, I found the pistol grip on my 500 cruiser useless. I like the stock and price from the link but the 8 shot tube on the second option. I'd be changing either out to a 12" LOP stock (Hogue or oem youth) so I'd get the 8-shot tube. I've owned my 8-shot 500A Cruiser for 15 years and love it all over again now that I installed a Hogue 12" overmold stock and forend. |

| I bought an 8-shot 500A a few weeks ago at a local gun show. The first thing I did was order a stock from someone here, as a pistol-grip only is useless. Whatever you decide make sure it comes with a stock, whatever style you prefer. I got a Choate pistol-grip stock from someone here on the board, and it's a HUGE improvement from just a pistol-grip only. |
