trident 9 or hems 2?

my dealer will have to order so that isnt a issue. but i will also have to buy a host since i only have a 1911 or 4 and i really dont care to suppress them. i know the hems 2 can be shot wet along with the trident 9 but since the hems 2 is 45 should it always be shot wet? or is that just basic arm chair commando crap? if i do decide for the trident 9 will the lcd be affected if i shoot it wet or is it a seled unit? "never seen or shot one with a  lcd just a lugged one". i have shot/used  both but i am just trying to decide on which one i need to get next week and no i cant afford both

oh one more question...with the lcd will  special k have a problem cycling on a glock 17? or will i have to change out recoil springs and what not?

Ive played around alot with my HEMS.  Yes I have shot it dry, and it does "tinge" my eardrums.... Wet is completely different....very quiet and very pleasant to shoot.

With the trident... it is a modular can... meaning you can install a 3 lug mount, a thread mount or an LCD.  Nothing is sealed. Shoot it wet, shoot it dry.... youre not going to hurt the LCD or the can(plus you have to take the LCD apart from time to time and clean and re lube it)....and even if you did somehow damage your can, Joe will repair it in a timely manner at no cost.

As for the glock 17, Ive never shot my g 17 with special K, just BH Subsonic and WWB 147's

No, I do not have any problems using either SWR/GS9K3 or AAC/Evolution-9 with Special K on 17 or 34.

Both

They are different animals.  Do you want a 9 can or a 45 can? What would you use as a host for the 9? For the 45?

I get much more pleasure in shooting 9 cans, even though 45 is my favorite caliber.

Before you ask,  shooting 9 through a 45 can does work, and sounds ok, the lcd doesn't work very well and I couldn't get it to work with my Glock 34. I bet a change of springs would work, but why bother.

At the moment 45 cans should be shot wet. They are still loud, dry.

if the trident i would go with either a glock 17 or a hk usp tactical in 9mm

hems 2  would be a glock 21

i will probally go with the trident 9 since ammo is availabe locally and  i have dies and all componets already for reloading it

just wanted to get opinions on the hems 2 before i ruled it out and on the lcd since i have no idea how it works

i have shot both but the trident was on a post 86 mp5 and never used it on a pistol
