Building a SBR 9mm and was wondering, which optic to go with. Looking for pros and cons of each.
Iron sights Holo sight red dot sight. All input appreciated. |

I'm a fan of red dots.
With the low recoil and relatively short ranges you will be shooting at, it is pretty much the perfect set up. I also like a co witness, as I've had a dead battery more than once. The only con I see is lack of magnification for my sometimes tired eyes, and sometimes the sight picture can be a little cluttered with non folding front sights. |
