Hi I was looking at loading for my AKs. I was told that IMR 4064 was no good to use with 123-125 fmjs. Would IMR 4350 be any good-or what other powder would be good to use? Thanks

The powders you are suggesting are too slow, The AA1680 and other powders like RL-7 of similar speed would be better choices.

HEHEHEE... IMR-4350 (way toooo slow)  in a 7.62x39 case will make for some of the softest shooting sluggish action operation you can find... I did it for the fun of it, looking for muzzle flash... didn't happen.

AA-1680 is the powder of choice for the AK cartridge, though some of the .223 powders will suffice, though the charge weights be higher.

I have used:

WW680 (equivalent to AA1680)
Hodgdon H322
IMR4227

I have to agree with the consensus here that AA1680 makes a fine overall propellant for 7.62x39 reloads.
