this may have been already asked but I am in the market to buy some primers and was wanting to know
about wolf primers..
1) are they comparable to WIN, REM primers?
2) are they reliable or do you get a lot off miss fires
3) are they the same every primer( roundness)
they last time I ordered primers was about 8 years ago when I ordered 50,000
I am now getting down to my last 10,000
and was just curious about wolf because they are cheaper, any info would be appreciated ..
THANKS

IMHO...........

IF you're new......buy what the book says to use.

Though, now a days just finding primers seems to be a big problem for some.

So.........

Just buy what you can find. Taking into account what you're planning on using them for (Note the mfn's recommendations for applications).

I did read a thread where WOLF's QC was called into question.

http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=6&f=42&t=272280

But.....YMWV.

Any mfn can have a bad day.

As for differences in mfn.......YES, they differ (brand X vs. brand Y).  Then, there is always, lot to lot variations even from the same mfn.

That is one reason WHY you work up (test) your loads.
