What division would a Bushmaster Piston AR be allowed?

What Division would a Lantac Dragon Muzzle Brake be allowed?

I'm not sure I fully understand the rules definitions.

Thanks.

Being piston or direct impengment have nothing to do with your division. You could use the Bushmaster in any division. I use an Adams Arms piston gun in Open / Unlimted, but used to use it in Limited / Practical. With the rifle, it's more about what optics you have that determine your division.

Muzzle brakes / comps have to be less than 1" in diameter, and 3"s in length for any division other than Open / Unlimted. The Lantac is smaller than that, so you could use it in any division.

Thanks, optics wise I know where I fall, it was the external modifications that got me to over thinking it.

be careful if you run a handstop or verticle grip of any kind. You are allowed to use them, but some matches will bump you to Open / Unlimted if you use them for support. Had a buddy use a hand stop and pushed it against a barrier or support They bumped him for it.

Thanks for the heads up on that. There is a lot to digest. I'm thinking the BAD lever will be a no go.

A BAD lever does not affect division. Just bring WHATEVER gun you have and shoot a match. The MD can put you in whatever division fits what you brought. Division won't matter much for quite a while... just focus on getting match experience. You can fine tune your equipment and division choices when you actually know what you are doing.
