I am putting together a belt and would love to get an idea of how everyone is set up. |
|
Here is my ELS setup. I shoot production and SS in USPSA with the same setup, as well as 3 Gun. You can see the els plates wrapped all the way around my belt. I do not have a lot of real estate on my waist as you can see. The benefits are 1 belt can handle all of the divisions and sports I compete in with the exception of IDPA. The flexibilty is worth it. I shoot a 2011, 1911, and Glocks and it is easy to switch between when needed, or to remove what is not needed. This rig is before I swithced the holster to an ALS Safariland for the glocks instead of the serpa, and it was one of the best moves I have made recently for 3 Gun.

Here are a few pics of my current setup. This is what I would run for a 3 gun stage. I'm digging quad loading, but don't want to wait for another run of the FSL 12's to finish my belt. |

Jesse can you post a better picture of the rifle mag pouch that is not mounted 90 degrees? It looks like it sits really low. I like that. Is it dropped and offset somehow? I put a BladeTech DOH attachment on it so I wouldn't have to reach up into my arm pit for a rifle mag. |
|
Safariland ELS with Carbon Arms, Safariland, and BladeTech stuff attached. Had the attachment studs in the back for a long time, but got annoyed enough trying to align them getting the belt on/off that I oriented them to the front. Haven't seen a problem with it yet. |

lol jk. I'm hoping to make a few more though as this was my first attempt at kydex work.
