Hey all I have a 930 JM pro that I wan to get beveled and the lifter welded/polished
I was going to send it to crums as I here he's great at this.

My ? is do I need to send him the whole gun? or can I just disasemble it and send him the reciever/lifter?
What are the shipping regulations on such items?

Call him and ask what he prefers.

I sent him my lifter then opened the loading port myself.  Send him an email and see what he says. You may be able to send him just the lifter and the receiver and save a little on shipping.

He is going to tear down the gun to mill the reciever so he shouldn't need the entire gun but there is an art to welding a lifter that includes test firing the gun to ensure that the longer lifter doesn't push the shells up into the barrel extension.  If it was me I'd send the entire gun.  For the extra $10-30 in shipping its worth having Jeff tune and test fire the gun with the welded lifter installed.

What Jesse said. Each gun is different and sometimes the lifter needs to be tweaked a bit for positive function.
Mine runs great and no bloody thumbs.
