I have recently started building a 3 Gun rifle and am down to these muzzle brakes. I was wondering which one of these would be the best design?

I two of the Corvette breaks one in 223 and 308,,

they work OK..

I wish I had the link to an old site,, that I guy had a shop in the garage, and made all kids of breaks and had a rig to test them,,

the bottom line was,, that,,,, pretty much what the Corvette is,, was what worked, one chamber, close to the end of the barrel, and that size, hole,,

all the other stuff,, looks cool,,,, ends up just for show,,,

I prefer the PRI QuietBrake to all others, if you aren't running a can.

Of your choices, I would imagine the bottom would affect accuracy the least.

looks OK,,,, you know,, as you shoot it,, you can change the angle of the top ports, to counteract the muzzle rise, and can adjust it, by drilling the top holes bigger, if needed,

to get it adjusted,, to keep the muzzle, on TGT,,,

Yeah I have been reading about guys doing that. I am thinking of swapping up barrels right now. I currently have a 16" carbine 1/9  .223 wylde 6 groove that I had planned on using but now I have my eyes set on two other barrels a 18" midlength SS gas spiral fluted 416R barrel or an 18" rifle length non fluted SS barrel.

HOpefully this isn't a hijack, but will a brake designed for a 7.62 still be efficient on a .223?  Reason I ask is that I'm considering a ARP barrel and they thread their barrels to 5/8x24.
