I was hoping the All-Knowing ARF.com can help me out with this.

I shot a 2-gun match this weekend and a competitor had a device on his belt/rifle that ‘locates’ the rifle when slung behind the back. I have been looking for something to do this job since my first run and gun match, and didn’t realize something like this existed.

It was basically a tab/male end mounted to the handguard at the 9 o clock position, and a corresponding slot/female side that mounted on the belt. When slinging the rifle, the tab goes in the slot (muzzle down) and the rifle won’t swing around when running or negotiating obstacles. He advised that it was made by a company called S and D Industries, but my google-fu has failed me.

Has anyone heard of such a device, or can think of some other item that could do the same job?  A tiny 5th wheel hitch in theory.

Thanks

Strike ind. use to make one, but the one most commonly used is made by S&S Precision. They are pricey
