I took my battery out of my PACT shot timer over the winter because it drains the battery.  The directions say "BE CAREFUL OF BATTERY ALIGNMENT WHEN INSTALLING NEW BATTERIES" but it doesn't say which way the 9V battery is supposed to go.
Looking at the back with the belt clip up which way does the battery go?  + or - up?
Thanks

Ok, thanks.  I wonder why the have that in big bold letters?  I hope it is not because people are stupid enough to put the battery in entirely backwards.

I just called PACT.  He said with the display up, the positive side of the battery is down.

He said they used to have + and - on the board, but the board maker stopped marking it and they just got on them the other day about marking it again.

I'll have to check how mine is in. I had the same problem so I just stuck it in and it worked. Figured it didn't matter since there was no instruction.

Thanks

Alright, I checked mine and you are right. I just happened to install it right by chance, positive down. To test it I simple turned it around, - side down, didn't work.

I then marked it just because...
