| I already have an 16 inch M4 and always wanted to build my own from the ground up. My question is with the receivers avail, does one give me an advantage over another for 3 gun? i have been in the military for over 13 years and am left handed and have learned to shoot the rifle lefty with the righty controls but now with ambi safeties and some companies having the BCG release on both side it seems something worth wild to look at. i have even noticed that some companies have wider mag wells built in which i thought was also a good addon. should i look into anything specific or do you guys have perfered receivers and why.. |

Quoted: def looking for an ambi lower, not interested in a left only, thanks though ill look into the lancers for sure Rainier Arms has some Ambi lowers ( though out of stock now) for bolt catch. Not sure if there are any mag release buttons on the left side on the market. Good luck/ You'll also have to get the ambi safeties like BAD Lever 1) Mega Arms billet Mega Arms has built their reputation for making the highest quality AR15 parts on the market while keeping prices low. Probably the best value for any billet lower in the market today. The 3H Model is designed to match up with their Billet uppers or Monolithic uppers. Now available with an ambidextrous bolt release with extended latch for smoother deployment. <strong style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; ">Features:[/span]
2) Seekins Precision Ambi Billet Lower The SP-223 lower is made of 7075T6 billet, and is type III hard anodized black with Teflon coating. Our lower has features like no other lower on the market. Some key differences of the SP lower are the oversized winter trigger guard, quick access mag release, large front grip, and a nice beveled mag well opening. The oversized, built in trigger guard allows the use of a thick winter glove. The magazine release area has been designed to allow quick and easy access to the release button from any position. Also, the mag well is wider and elongated in the front for a sure grip as well as having a large beveled opening for fast, smooth mag changes. An upper receiver tensioning screw is located under the grip, and it also includes a captive detent spring to retain the rear takedown pin. The Gen 2 Lower features an ambidextrous bolt release (Pre-installed) *Because of the rear take down captive screw, the detent spring will need to be trimmed down. |
