Overcast night. 11:00 p.m. It's been raining most of the evening. It's practically pitch dark.
Pictures made with a GoPro 12. Cropped with GIMP (Photoshop clone).
When saved, the images are only around 50 KB, so not high resolution.
These are slightly out of focus as well. I was juggling my glasses, camera, NODS
This one is absolutely no ambient from the house lighting:
Attached FileThis one is with the perimeter security cameras on, which are emitting bright IR light:
Attached FileThis one is in my basement, 5 feet from a light blue wall. Ambient is a TV to the right and behind me. The purpose was to try to get a uniform background to find defects:
Attached FileThis one is in the basement again, down the hall, looking toward the room from the photo above. I turned on a side room light, on the right, just to have something to work with.
Attached FileConclusion. I think there is some peppering. I cleaned the glass exceptionally well and I do see some tiny spots. They don't show up in the pictures with one exception. Third picture, right optic, about 5:45 on the clock, just a bit off of the perimeter. Under normal use, the pepper is not an issue. They are not noted on the spec sheet and what I have been reading is that this is kind of normal.
My other conclusion is that I absolutely suck at taking pictures and cropping them to upload here.
