Just got gears of war and love it. haven't ventured online with it yet. ETA: Anyone who wants to add me I'll be glad to accept. I don't get online a lot anymore but would like some good people to play with when/if I do. One reason I quit before was dealing with a bunch of cheating *sswipes who modded and did all kinds of crap. I've got Call of Duty 2 & 3 Gears of War Fight Night Doom 3 Quake 4 (been a while though) Perfect Dark Dead Rising Used to play Halo2 a lot but got fed up with the people online. |

guns762 Played online for the first time today, Halo2, but would like to play COD2 or GOW, but haven't played either yet....although the boys got them for Christmas.  I figured I'd try something I was at least familar with first. I have one question.....how do you toggle the mike? Do you just talk? or do you toggle a button for people to hear you? |

Sent out a bunch of friend invites...... My sons and I played together tonight, but I noticed quite a bit of lag when the 3 of us were playing all at once. When it was just the two of us, it seemed pretty good, except my 12yr old was getting more kills than me. Little bastard. I think we may just stick to two online at a time. It wasn't much fun when we were lagging, but man was it cool when the tree of us worked together. We were kicking ass on some of the small maps. |

What does everyone think of adding [AR15] infront of our gamertags? for instance: [AR15]guns762 ......as the BF2 guys do? Never mind......no way to use"[ ]" in a gamertag on Xboxlive.  , or at least I'm not smart enough to figure out how to do it in the editing section.

Yes, you can. Go to My Xbox, then View Friends. Enter the gamertag and click on the Add Friend button. Much easier than using a controller. |
You have to use I's or lower case L's......i.e. I AR15 I guns762 l AR15 l guns762 ll ARF ll guns762 plus you have to pay 800 M$ points to change your gamertag.
