The coolest was whatever gun Al Pacino used. Which one was it again???
If there's a movie and Val Kilmer is in it, chances are he's the coolest character.
kilmer's handling of the m16 shorty during the bank robbery shootout was very nice. wish that I could reload like that.
Pacino wins marginally over DeNiro just because of the scene when he finds the dude at his house and his moonbat wife is cooking him breakfast. Also got points for fucking hard with tone loc.
Kilmer. If RD hadn't let things get personal at the end he would have won hands down though.
DeNiro. As if there were any contest.
"Look at me. Look. At. Me." BANG! |
I thought Sizemore's character was cool until he picked up a little girl as cover from police gunfire.
What a pussy. |
Kilmer got away at the end, remember when he tried to go home and the police were waiting at his house, then he pretended to be somebody else and got past the police check. he's a cool operator! |
Hanna . Drew a bead on Cherrito like a rifleman should have . POP done ......
It was an HK91. Damn, now we're going to have to see "What gun did Kilmer use during the drive-in scene in HEAT?" threads for the next 10 years. |
He did. IIRC, Waingro used a FAL in the opening scene. |
+1. That was brilliant. |
yep, they should have known thier was too much heat on them. |
Even the heat ends up messed up. |

But she was f-cking Apu! How bad is that. Your wife running around with Moe. |
yeah, kid commits suicide, wife messing around, If I recall correctly Val Kilmer gets away clean? |
Waynegro was holding a pistol. AFAIK |
None of 'em really. Maybe one of the other cops was a decent guy, but Pacino was a train wreck.
Yup. Chris gets away. Wife(Justin) fooled around because Hanna was more intersted in chasing criminals than cuddling with her. |
If he'da been a good husband, she wouldnt have. |
My all-time favorite movie. My vote: Kilmer. DeNiro goes down as the all-time biggest badass as McCauley in this flick, but credit must be given where its due. Chris got away. Filthy rich. McCauley let his own lust for vengeance get him killed. Kilmer is the coolest operator.
It's just an HK91 unless it's got a happy switch, which would make it a G3. The bipod, buttstock, etc. are all interchangeable between the two, just like the parts between the M16 and AR15. |
He gets away clean with no money and no Ashley Judd. BFD |
Everyone else in the crew got a dirtnap. I'd say that walking away with his life made it a big deal. |
Thats the whole point. Besides, for many people, thats just how life is. |
Kharn |

Sit down, Ralph. SIT DOWN!
or You can borrow my wife, if she wants you to, but you can't watch my television set! |
It is a HK91 with a bipod not a G3. Look at the trigger group S and F or 1 and 0. There are just two settings, and it is a metal trigger pack.....so it is semi not fully like the G3. |
Wangro had the S&W handgun, Sizemore had the Para FAL. |
... Nope, it was a Galil |
I think its a tie between Pacino and Kilmer but i voted Kilmer because of his skills shown in the drive-in scene.
and i love his H&K |
